Specials at All Star Dodge Ram near Chesterfield
There are so many different inventory specials going on right now at All Star Dodge Ram near Chesterfield, that we just do not know where to start! So many Dodge, Ram, Jeep, and Chrysler cars are on special right now that your head will spin! Today we will focus on a few of the reasons why you should buy a new Ram 2500 from All Star.
The base engine is powerful – If you don’t need the ultimate towing capabilities, the base V-8 engine should get the job done. It develops a solid 383 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. You will be able to climb hills with ease. A six-speed automatic transmission comes standard. With the ability to pull more than 10,000 pounds, the base engine is far from being puny.
The diesel engine is HUGE! – The turbocharged diesel engine is for the drivers who need the maximum power. Ram tuned the monstrous Cummings engine to push out 370 horsepower and a commanding 800 pound-feet of torque. Even when hauling massive loads for the entire the day, the engine never seems to be fazed. You will be able to tow nearly 18,000 pounds.
You won’t find a better ride – “Pickup trucks have not always been known for offering a comfortable ride. However, the Ram 2500 gives you to feeling of riding in a luxury sedan. Its suspension system promises to keep you relaxed throughout the day. Because of its smooth ride, the Ram 2500 is more than just a work truck. It is certainly worthy of a long road trip.”-car-buying-strategies.com

Jeep Patriot at All Star Jeep Dealer near Clayton
We have talked before about how there was going to be a new Jeep model to replace both the Patriot and the Compass, into one super Jeep model. We think that there may be a change in the replacement plan. We say this because it seems as though there is going to be a new Jeep Patriot coming for 2018. We want to take a look at this new model today!
Contrary to the styling we can see on the exciting Patriot model, the replacements for the 2018 Jeep Patriot will lose its blocky look for more modern and close to Grand Cherokee design cues. Indeed, the new Compass model looks like smaller Grand Cherokee but also share a lot of similarities with the Renegade, which is a good thing if you want our opinion.
The Patriot replacement has Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille which resides between nicely accentuated headlights. Profile side features trapezoidal fender flares and pronounced beltline. The rear side also looks more sculpted and there are also new taillights.
On the other hand, what is also important to mention, this new model sits on the “small-wide” unibody platform. This light and stuff unibody structure has been made of 65 percent high-strength steel.
Inside, the model also brings more modern design and the newest technology. The quality of materials is better as well as the comfort.
“The fourth generation of the Uconnect infotainment system will also be there. The system supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play features and different screen sizes. Available will be 5-inch, 7-inch and 8.4-inch touchscreens depending on the trim level. The instrument panel will also be available with either 3.5-inch information display or 7-inch digital cluster.”-suv2018.net

Jeep Grand Cherokee at All Star Jeep Dealer near North County
We have a secret, but we have got to tell someone, so we are going to tell you! The Jeep Grand Cherokee is getting a new trim for the 2018 model year! Coming soon to All Star Jeep Dealer near North County, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk!
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is the third Fiat Chrysler vehicle to have the unhinged supercharged V-8 stuffed under its hood, and it’s the quiet Hellcat next door. Not literally, of course—have you heard a blown Hemi V-8 at full whack?—but with standard all-wheel drive mitigating the engine’s tire-spinning proclivities, plus its under-the-radar looks, the Trackhawk can at least pass for an upstanding citizen.
With more traction than any Hellcat yet, the Trackhawk has quite a lot of poke despite its pork—the engine adds 259 pounds over the already heavy 475-hp Grand Cherokee SRT. Nonetheless, Jeep claims it can reach 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. “That time is on par with the nearly 1000-pounds-lighter, automatic-equipped Dodge Hellcats we’ve tested. (The quickest was the Charger, which reached 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.) Per Jeep, the quarter-mile is expected to fly by in 11.6 seconds (at 116 mph!), and, with no electronic governor, the Trackhawk is said to surrender to atmospheric resistance at 180 mph.”-caranddriver.com
The supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V-8 is mostly left alone otherwise, right down to its forged pistons, sodium-filled exhaust valves, heavy-duty bearings, and blower pushing as much as 11.6 psi. Exhaust-routing complications reduce peak torque by a negligible 5 lb-ft, to 645. To keep the Hellcat from lunching the Trackhawk’s driveline, Jeep fortifies the eight-speed automatic transmission, fits forged chain sprockets and a wider chain in the transfer case, beefs up the rear driveshaft and half-shafts, and tweaks the rear differential. Ram 3500 at All Star Dodge Ram near Kirkwood
Is there any way that the Ram line of trucks could get any better? We thought no, but then Ram went and surprised us and made the Ram 3500 even more powerful. Today we want to talk about the 2018 Ram 3500 that will soon be available at All Star Dodge Ram near Kirkwood.
“When equipped with a 6.7-liter turbo-diesel, dual rear wheels, Aisin 6-speed automatic, and a 4.10 rear axle ratio, the 2018 Dodge Ram 3500 will make 930 pound-feet of torque and haul a 30,000-pound fifth-wheel trailer, the truck-maker announced Friday. Keen mathletes will note that 930 lb-ft is more than the 925 lb-ft offered in the 2017 Ford Super Duty when optionally equipped with its 6.7-liter turbo-diesel (no relation).”-motorauthority.com
According to Ram, the secret sauce for so much power is in boost pressure. Last year, the right combination would net a 900 lb-ft of torque rating in the 2017 Ram 3500. This year the combo nets 930 lb-ft. Joke’s on those guys.
This year’s 6.7-liter turbo-diesel Ram 3500 with dual rear wheels and a 4.10 axle will also drag a 30,000-pound fifth-wheel trailer. That’s more than the Super Duty’s 27,500-pound fifth-wheel rating, which was king of the hill for nearly a year.
There may or may not be a few things to keep in mind when considering this powerful truck for purchase. For example, this Ram 3500 will enable you to tow 30,000 pounds, however, towing 30,000 pounds means that you’ll need a CDL to legally haul that load.
There are even more wonderful things to discover on the Ram 3500, so head to All Star Dodge Ram and talk with a member of their team. The friendly and knowledgeable staff would be more than happy to share with you all of the exciting features that the 2018 Ram 3500 will have to offer!
Dodge Charger at All Star Dodge near Arnold
It was gone for a while but now it’s back, that’s right, we are talking about the Dodge Charger Daytona! We are so excited to share with you more information on the new and improved Charger Daytona that is available at All Star Dodge near Arnold!
Last seen in the 2013 model year, the Charger Daytona takes its inspiration from the big-winged Charger Daytona coupe that Dodge built in 1969 for NASCAR racing.
The Charger Daytona wears front- and rear-end bodywork that mimics its SRT and R/T Scat Pack brethren; however, the Daytona plows its own styling path by including model-specific matte-black design details including a rear spoiler, roof, a “Hemi” graphic on the center-mounted hood-scoop bulge, and “Daytona” graphics on the rear quarter-panels. Like the Challenger T/A, the Daytona also will be available in a handful of retro paint hues, including Green Go and Yellow Jacket.
Two Daytona models will be available: the Daytona and the Daytona 392. Dodge’s 5.7-liter V-8 powers the former, while the brand’s 6.4-liter V-8 motivates the latter. The two engines benefit from an intake capped with a Mopar conical air filter, as well as a burly exhaust system. Both are the same V-8s you’ll find in their respective non-Daytona counterparts, which make 370 and 485 horsepower in the 2016 models. (This information was compiled from caranddriver.com and dodge.com.)
It’s not all about what is on the outside or under the hood, the interior matters too! Inside, the Daytona is fitted with power-adjustable, heated and cooled front seats. Gold accent stitching is used throughout the interior, including for the embroidered Daytona logos on the front seats. A Daytona badge is also present on the instrument panel. Additional kit includes a power-adjustable steering column, driver’s-seat memory, HD headlights, LED interior lighting, and rear parking sensors.

Ram 1500 at All Star Dodge Ram near Town and Country
There have been mules galore on the road near FCA’s plants and we have been loving all of the spy shots that we are getting to see! Today we want to share with you some of the things that we saw on the 2018 Ram 1500, which will soon be available at All Star Dodge Ram near Town and Country.
“Luckily we were able to take a quick peek inside the cabin of the future 1500, and things look promising. For starters, the test mule had the same steering wheel as the Pacifica. This could suggest the two are going to share the same infotainment system and a similar setup for the adaptive cruise control system. On top of that, a new rotary gear selector seems to be in use on the truck while the design looks to be slightly more modern than before.”-carttraction.com
The 2018 1500 which now goes under the code name DT also has an extensive vertical bar and a little slimmer horizontal slot. It seems that they will follow fashion that suggests that slimmer is prettier because the headlights will also be thinner and they will also lose some of its square shape. No need to mention that front lights will most likely feature high-end LED tech. Moving onto the lower end of the front fascia, we see empty spaces probably reserved for a new set of fog lights, while the skid place is now off-colored and leaves space for work in progress which 2018 Ram 1500 certainly is. As far as the hood goes, it will continue to be a bit bulky just as the RAM fans love it. Just, this time around it will feature more pyramidal shape instead of an old rectangular. (Information compiled from carttraction.com, ram.com, and widely released spy shots.)

New Cars at All Star Dodge Ram in MO
When you are considering buying a new car, you probably don’t even consider just how much freedom you have. There are so many more options when you decide to buy new cars from All Star Dodge Ram in MO. Let’s talk about those freedoms of choice here today.
When you buy a new car or truck, you’re the boss. You can consider a wide variety of vehicles in the size and price class you want. You can test-drive them all. You can select your favorite color. You can equip it with whatever features you need and want. You can choose between leather and cloth upholstery. You can upgrade the audio system. You can add high-tech gizmos such as a communication, entertainment or navigation system.
If you don’t find what you want in a showroom, on a dealer’s lot or online, a dealer can special-order a new car to your precise specifications. Before you order a vehicle, ask the dealer to search available databases to see if the car you want already exists in another dealer’s inventory. Dealers frequently trade vehicles to satisfy a customer and a dealer will often outright buy the vehicle from another dealer to make a customer happy.
‘If a dealer search comes up empty and you have to special-order the vehicle, be aware that this will take time and could cost you more than buying a vehicle directly off the lot. Because a dealer is more motivated to sell the cars already sitting on their lot, you will have lost a negotiating tool.”-cars.com
We invite you to head to the All Star dealership and check out the new cars that they have on their lot. Their team would love to help you decide which new car is right for you!
Jeep Cherokee at All Star Jeep Dealer near Illinois
It’s officially spy shot season and we are so pumped! What is spy shot season you ask? It’s that wonderful time of the year in which auto manufacturers start testing out the next year’s models and we get images of the ‘mules’! ‘Mules’ are what the covered bodies of the next year’s models are called. They are usually nondescript to keep those of us who watch for them, in suspense. Let’s talk about the spy shots we recently looked at for the 2018 Jeep Cherokee that you will soon be able to get at All Star Jeep Dealer near Illinois.
The heavily disguised prototype has the nose and tail completely covered, and an undisguised mule with the current body shows what appear to be new radar sensors. Based on these spy shots, it looks like the Cherokee’s current split headlight design could be disappearing.
“We know there must be a significant redesign to the front considering how much camouflage is used. We can also just make out a revised accent light in a similar position as the current accent lights. This wouldn’t indicate unified headlights alone, but two of the exposed mule’s apparent radar sensors sit right where the square-shaped main headlamps are located on the current model. They’ll have to at least move those lights higher in the bumper for the sensors, and if they’re moved that far up, they might as well be merged with the accent lights.”-autoblog.com
