According to Chrysler News, “for those who believe black is beautiful, Chrysler’s Ram division has your pickup truck.” The new Black Ram Express offers a new “black-on-black” color scheme that has been described as the “baddest-looking factory-built truck on the market.”
The new exterior color scheme includes a black paint job, black 20 inch aluminum wheels, black grille and fascia, black rear bumper and Ram’s head badges that are black located on the grille as well as the tailgate.
“Ram Trucks are known for their bold, in-your-face presence,” said Reid Bigland, CEO of the Ram truck brand, in a statement. “The new Black Express takes Ram’s aggressive good looks to an all new sinister level by ‘blackening out’ the entire truck while maintaining a great price.”
The halogen projector headlamps and turn signals are the exception to the black-on-black color scheme, shining white but they do have black bezels and 15 LED lights for turn signals are amber.
The 2013 Ram Black Express model is available in several trims in a choice of a regular cab, quad cab, and a crew cab body style. The Ram Black Express offers a choice of both four-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive options. “The price for all this blackness starts at $26,955, plus $1,095 destination charge,” says Chrysler News.
