In addition to the Ram 1500 award, other Chrysler cars won as well, such as the Jeep Grand Cherokee which was the “Official Winter Vehicle of New England” for third consecutive year and the 2011 Grand Cherokee which took the Wheels TV “Previously Owned Vehicle of the Year” award.
The 2013 Ram 1500 4WD was awarded the “Best All-Wheel-Weather Pickup Truck,” trophy and Jeep Brand President, Mike Manley, received 2013 NEMPA Executive of the Year Award
Ram 1500 4×4 was named “Best All-Weather Pickup Truck” for the second time in four years. It is the latest in a group of recent awards including Motor Trend Truck of the Year, North American Truck of the Year and Ward’s Autos 10 Best Interiors.

Fuel economy in the new Ram 1500 is 18 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on the highway with many new fuel saving features and a powerful V6 engine mated with an 8 speed automatic transmission, thermal management system, active aerodynamics, and grille shutters as well as air suspension.
