Jeep Wrangler Unlimited at All Star Jeep Dealer near Town and Country
News has been buzzing all year that 2018 is going to mean a new generation of the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The main question that everyone has been asking is when? When will be get to see the new next generation? We think we may now know! We’ve done some looking around online and found some interesting news.
“Jeep fans know the countdown clock for the new Wrangler—code-named JL—is ticking. According to an unnamed dealer source cited by JLWrangler Forums, the 2018 Wrangler will roll off the Toledo assembly line in mid-November, although some variants won’t start production until months later.”-caranddriver.com
The forum reports the four-door Unlimited V-6 hardtop will be the first out, followed by the Dual Top and softtop versions in December. Next up, in February, are the two-door V-6 hardtop and various versions of the 2.0-liter four-cylinder Unlimited. Softtop versions of the four-cylinder, in both body styles, start in March, at which point Jeep will stop building the current JK. A power top (possibly as both hard- and softtop) will be built starting in May 2018, with the diesel coming in August. A hybrid based on the V-6 will arrive later as a 2019 model.
None of these claimed production start times are confirmed by Fiat Chrysler, nor are they on-sale dates. They’re also subject to change. Fans who can’t wait to see the new Wrangler’s sleeker interior and largely same-looking body in person should book a flight to L.A., as the JL will be unveiled at the Los Angeles auto show this fall.
So while this information is not yet confirmed by the higher ups at FCA, we are hopeful to see the newest Jeep Wrangler Unlimited sooner rather than later at All Star Jeep Dealer near Town and Country!
Jeep Wrangler at All Star Jeep Dealer in MO
We LOVE getting to look at spy shots of the latest vehicles that come out. This includes the Jeep Wrangler that will soon be out at All Star Jeep Dealer in MO. These spy shots were very revealing and we wanted to share what we thought we saw here with you today.
Previously standard on Sahara and Rubicon models, improved LED headlights are something the die-hards have wished for a long time now. The newfangled clusters appear to offer greater lighting performance than the current units, but they’re not alone. They’re complemented by round-shaped fog lights located under the headlights, grafted into the Wrangler’s bumper.
The newest spy photos of the JL Wrangler further reveal two hood vents and a set of chunky BF Goodrich tires wrapped around black-painted wheels fastened with six lug nuts. The body-on-frame configuration also appears to offer better approach and departure angles than the JK Wrangler, whereas the rear incorporates a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
There were two mules (test models) out, one of them is fitted with the removable soft top, and the other features some sort of hardtop. According to leaked documents, the first type of 2018 Jeep Wrangler to roll off the line is the two-door JL in hardtop configuration. In March 2018, the Toledo plant will start production of the soft-top Wrangler, whereas right-hand drive models are go for June 11.
“Next August will see the introduction of the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6, which will prove popular in markets such as Europe based on the sales figures for the JK and JKU. Over in the United States, the biggest sellers in terms of engine options will be the tried-and-tested Pentastar V6 and the Hurricane inline-4.”-autoevolution.com

Dodge Journey at All Star Dodge Ram Jeep Chrysler near Glendale
The Dodge Journey has been around for a long time, and we are excited to announce that we will be getting a new generation in 2019! Though there are still a couple of years before this model shows up on the All Star Dodge Ram Jeep Chrysler dealership lot, we wanted to share with you some information on what we expect to see on the new Dodge Journey in 2019.
Automotive News reports that a new Journey will arrive for 2019 and it’ll be based on Alfa Romeo’s new rear-drive Giorgio platform. That’s the same platform that underpins the lovely—if mechanically troubled—Giulia sedanand the Stelvio SUV. Fiat Chrysler is expected base the next Dodge Charger and Challenger on this platform too. Automotive News is light on details in its report, but it says that the next Journey will remain a two-row crossover and that production will be shifted from Mexico to Italy.
“We’re curious to see what engines this new Journey will get. The Stelvio is currently offered with Alfa Romeo’s new 280-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder and its 505-hp 2.9-liter V6 in the high-performance Quadrifoglio. Going to a rear-wheel drive platform would be a welcome change of pace for the Journey. A Stelvio-based crossover is certainly more interesting than what we’ve got from Dodge now.”-roadandtrack.com
It will certainly be interesting to see what the final specs are on the 2019 Dodge Journey. In the mean time, we invite you to head to All Star Dodge Ram Jeep Chrysler near Glendale and take the current Dodge Journey out for a spin. Dodge Durango at All Star Dodge in Bridgeton
So you find yourself needing something powerful, sporty, and that can haul a number of people. If this is you, then you need to check out the new Dodge Durango SRT at All Star Dodge in Bridgeton. This powerful workhorse offers great agility and comfort all at the same time. Let’s take a deeper look at this powerful model.
Appropriately billed by Dodge as the Charger of SUVs, the Durango SRT starts with the brand’s naturally aspirated 6.4-liter V-8 found in various versions of the aforementioned Charger (as well as the Challenger). The 475-hp engine also boasts 470 lb-ft of torque and is capable of propelling the big brute to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. That’s just two ticks slower than the Challenger 392, which weighs in at a significantly lighter 4,240 lb. “It growls just as properly as it does in the Challenger when pushed, which is always good for a smile — or at least a satisfied smirk. Dodge says the Durango SRT’s eight-speed automatic, which distributes power to all four wheels via a standard all-wheel drive system that can send up to 70 percent of torque to the rear wheels, has been specifically calibrated for the vehicle. Shifts can reportedly be cracked off in as little as 160 milliseconds and there’s a satisfying WHOMP to each one when you have the hammer down.”-automobilemag.com
Its suspension is bolstered by Bilstein adaptive dampers, 3-percent stiffer front springs, 16 percent-stiffer rear springs, and an 18 percent-stiffer rear anti-roll bar. The effect is a surprisingly agile package on track that offers a smooth and comfortable ride on road with minimal NVH aside from the engine’s soundtrack.
You can get your Dodge Durango SRT at All Star Dodge today. What’s stopping you from getting the SUV you deserve?

We always get really excited when FCA puts out anything regarding what their future plans for the brand might happen to be. We are really excited about some of the news that Chrysler put out over the last couple of days and we wanted to share what we heard. Tipo/Neon: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has studied importing the compact Fiat Tipo sedan into the U.S. from Europe and likely rebadging it as a Chrysler Neon. However, no plan has been announced.
200: Production of the 200 midsize sedan has ended. It will not be replaced.
300: Sources say a planned redesign of the LX-based 300 onto the Giorgio platform, originally scheduled for 2020, has been scrapped. Instead, designers will do a major freshening of the 300 in 2019 in hopes of shedding weight and improving fuel economy. The addition of a turbocharged four-cylinder is a strong possibility to augment an improved V-6 to help get the job done. In the meantime, Chrysler will put a Hellcat engine in its luxury sedan in late 2018.
Pacifica: The well-regarded Chrysler Pacifica minivan will be freshened in 2020.
Midsize crossover: The front-wheel-drive midsize crossover, to be built at FCA’s Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois beginning in 2019, will share a platform with the Jeep Cherokee and have three rows of seating, similar to the Dodge Journey.
These are just a few of the vehicles that we might be seeing over the next 3 to 5 years. We know that FCA will commit to providing the latest technologies in each of these models and we cant wait!

The changes include engine oil, oil filter and wheel nut torque (depending on the vehicle’s mileage and manufacturer specification). The dealership will also check and change the tire pressure and top up the clutch fluid, power steering reservoir, brake fluid level and windscreen washer if required.”-automyze.theaa.com
