Which Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Will You Love?

Leningrad region, Russia , July 30, 2016 , Jeep Wrangler at sunset on grief Pulkovo, the Jeep Wrangler is a compact four wheel drive off road and sport utility vehicle

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited at All Star Jeep Dealer near Oakville

We love the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and know that you will too! It is just going to be a matter of which Wrangler Unlimited you will fall in love with. Today we want to take a look at a few of the different trim options and highlight a little about each to help you decide which trim you should go with. It is important to note that some of these trims are special editions and only available for a limited amount of time. (Most of these trims can also be applied to the Jeep Wrangler model, if the Unlimited isn’t quite your style.)

The Jeep Wrangler has been with us in one form or another for 75 years. “Military duty, postal service, rock hopping, mud womping, vacation rental—you name it, Jeep’s original 4×4 has literally put the U in SUV. Everyone’s seen one, and like the original Volkswagen Beetle, odds are good that most people have a Jeep story,” (motortrend.com). With that in mind, the test vehicle in question is the Hard Rock limited edition version of the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, which adds a bell and a whistle or two over the standard truck.

The Wrangler Rubicon is already as capable as any SUV on the market, but the Hard Rock version does add some spice to the mix, as well as $4,800 to the base price. We’ve seen many of the Hard Rock’s changes before on the Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition, and we’re happy to see them return. Visually speaking, the biggest change over the standard Rubi is the steel front bumper. Featuring removable end caps, red tow hooks, and integrated foglights, the winch-ready metal bumper saves you from turning to the aftermarkets. The Hard Rock also comes with a Power Dome hood. Essentially air vents, the new hood does look pretty good.

We love the different trims of the Jeep Wrangler but we wanted to share wih you some reviews from people who have bought the Jeep Wrangler.

I’m a first time Jeep buyer. I really enjoy my new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S. I have 3.73 rear axle gears, so it helps with get up and go. The Jeep runs great, steers sharp and easy to drive. I love it. – Larry

Although Jeep Wrangler isnt the fastest, quietest riding vehicle…its by far the most customizable and coolest vehicle out there! Jeep wrangler is a motivational vehicle..it makes me want to get up & go…somewhere…anywhere! I havent had my Jeep long, but I’ve also heard they are very reliable and easy & affordable to fix if anything needs repair. Not so good on gas, but with the low cost of insurance on this vehicle, I have a little more cash to spend on fuel! – M. Farmer

What can I say? My new Jeep 75 th anniversary unlimited is so much fun to drive. I figure since I drive alot for my business I may as well get something I can have fun in. I take the freedom roof off, crank up my stereo and off I go, a total blast. Makes me feel like I’m 21 again. The vehicle is rock solid and gets alot of looks too! – Frank

Collision Center at All Star near Wentzville

We all know that sometimes bad things happen, but it is how you deal with those bad situations that really defines the situation. When something bad happens to your Dodge Ram, you bring it to the All Star Collision Center near Wentzville and get it corrected. You might not know that Chrysler was once in a terrible state and they brought in Mr. DeLuca to save the company. Mr. DeLuca passed away this week and we thought it would be nice to share with you how he saved Chrysler.

In 1978, when Mr. Iacocca joined Chrysler at a salary of $1 a year to salvage the company, which was nearly bankrupt, he wooed Kenyon & Eckhardt away from its $75 million account with Ford. “There was a certain amount of risk involved,” Mr. DeLuca told The New York Times in 1992. “The risk was that our company would go down the drain.” Leo-Arthur Kelmenson, the Kenyon & Eckhardt chairman, conceived an advertising campaign that persuaded Congress to approve a $1.5 billion federal loan guarantee package for Chrysler in 1980. It made Mr. Iacocca America’s most famous car salesman. Mr. Kelmenson gave credit to Mr. DeLuca.

“His campaign for Chrysler included a star-studded cast. Frank Sinatra, Gregory Peck, Bill Cosby, Angie Dickinson, Ernest Borgnine, Johnny Cash and Sally Struthers were among those who reminded prospective customers that Chrysler was desperately competing with foreign carmakers. “America’s not going to be pushed around any more,” they would declare, working for scale, $275 a day.” – nytimes.com

“We had to register our message in a hurry,” Mr. DeLuca said. “We think celebrities help make our pitch more emotional, more immediate.”

Through some insightful campaigns, Mr. DeLuca saved Chrysler and helped it grow into the brand we know today. As we say goodbye to the legend, we know he will never be forgotten.

Dodge Journey: What Do You Think?

Dodge Journey a All Star Dodge near Glendale

At All Star Dodge near Glendale, the Dodge Journey is a top model with customers. A lot of families love this vehicle! Today we want to take a look at what real customers have had to say about the Journey. We asked for a breif review and for the features that they loved the most. Let’s find out what they thought!

I love this car. I am a life long GM guy and this puts the Chevy Equinox to shame. The car size is just right, not too big, not too small. This car is fantastic in the Winter. I love the auto heated seats and steering wheel, also the awd.
The seats are very comfortable, the radio nav screen is nice and big. The rear air and heat are awsome along with the 3rd row.
The 1 big thing it needs is daytime running lites for extra safety. – Thomas H.

Went to the dealer to buy a Jeep Cherokee and test drove three versions, then tested the Journey. The Jeeps were a hard ride and costlier compared to the Journey. The ride is smooth, the seats are comfortable and it feels like a solid SUV. The R/T is loaded with plenty of technology, storage, room between the rows and 19 inch tires. The lease was more affordable with better incentices than the Jeep Cherokees. So far, the gas mileage is better that the 19 city/25 highway as stated in the sticker. It has the pickup necessary to get you out of a bad situation, for a vehicle of its size. – Darlene

A Legend Dies

DETROIT - JAN 12 : Chryslor 300C on display at the North American International Auto Show on January 12 2009 in Detroit Michigan. The annual event is among the largest auto shows in North America.

Chrysler Cars at All Star near St. Louis

We have some sad news to report. A legendary figure for Chrysler passed away this week.

“Ronald DeLuca, who orchestrated the advertising campaign that spared the Chrysler Corporation from insolvency in the 1980s and transformed Lee Iacocca, the ailing automaker’s voluble chief executive, into a national brand himself, died on Tuesday in Oneonta, N.Y. He was 91.” – nytimes.com

The cause was complications of myelodysplastic syndrome, his grandson Mark Lotto said.

Mr. DeLuca and Mr. Iacocca forged a bond in 1967, when Mr. Iacocca was in the last phase of his 32-year career with the Ford Motor Company and Mr. DeLuca was a creative director at Kenyon & Eckhardt. Almost exactly the same age — Mr. DeLuca was 13 days younger — both men were born in Pennsylvania, sons of Italian immigrants.

Cono DeLuca was born on Oct. 28, 1924, in Redding, Pa., the son of Nicholas DeLuca, a foreman for the Redding Railroad, and the former Grace Carabello. His mother spoke no English, and when she accompanied him on his first day of school, his teacher wrote down his name as Ronald.

After attending Pratt Institute in New York, he graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree from Syracuse University in 1950. He married the former Lois Hall. Besides his grandson Mr. Lotto and his wife, Lois, he is survived by his daughters, Diane, Patricia, Maria and Lisa DeLuca and Christine DeLuca Lotto; his son, Nick; his brothers, Nate and Tony; 10 other grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. DeLuca is credited with saving Chrysler and growing the brand. He will be greatly missed but will live on as a legend in the eyes of the Chrysler company. For more information on the different Chrysler models, stop by All Star near St.Louis.

What Do You Think?

Rear end of a 1998 Dodge Durango.

Dodge Durango at All Star Dodge near O’Fallon

What do you think of the Dodge Durango? At All Star Dodge near O’Fallon we love the Durango, but we don’t want you to take just take our word for it, we want you to see what real customers have to say about owning a 2016 Dodge Durango.

urchased a “USED”… yes used 2016 Durango R/T with 65 miles on it (July 2016). With the addition of a second child (we opted for 2nd row captain chairs), our 2013 Audi Q5 3.0T Prem Plus, S-Line just did not have enough interior room. Durango is a nice vehicle for its size. The V8 is a must for the weight of this vehicle. Coming from a supercharged V6 german CUV, my wife could not stand the Dodge V6. The 8sp is smooth. We tested other American SUV’s that had the quad captain chairs as options and the Durango ticked all our boxes for satisfaction. We liked the turbo-6 on the Ford explorer but not much else on that vehicle. U-Connect is intuitive, I just hope the touchscreen lasts. – Sco Stu

This is a terrific machine. Looks great, has all the gadgets you want and enjoy, the 5.7 hemi with the 8 speed gearbox is a rocket. Super comfortable, excellent interior, super build quality, feels like a more expensive machine. This is my second Durango and I’m very pleased with it. Not the cheapest sticker, but you get what you pay for. Strong recommend for this machine; I have the R/T. – Neil

The 2016 Durango Citadel is a well-made, well designed full size SUV. The interior and exterior are well appointed and well designed, with great comfort and convenience items that are pleasing (vented driver and passenger seats) and start-stop technology. – Michael

I really appreciate a Sales Representative that’s not about the dollar, but works with integrity to make sure your comfortable with spending your dollar. He took care of us the whole way thru. Curtis you are the best. You know your cars and what you’re doing. It was a great pleasure and we love our vehicle. – L and S – 5 Stars

Excellent customer service. We first met Curtis as he was walking across the parking lot to go home for the day when we had asked him to point us in the direction of the new Jeeps he not only pointed us in the right direction but stayed and guided us. – Jeep1204 – 5 Stars

rom beginning to end Curtis was absolutely incredible! I came in with a used 2013 challenger and he was just as eager as I was to get me in a new vehicle. He worked diligently to make sure the price was just right. Very very hard working individual who was driven to make my experience at AllStar Doge one to remember. Dynamic Powerstroke Diesel – “When equipped with the Powerstroke diesel engine, the 2016 Ram 2500 Mega Cab becomes a mini freight train. To handle the engine’s incredible amount of torque, the engine comes standard with a beefed-up automatic transmission,” (carbuyingstategies.com).

Available Manual Transmission – In contrast to its heavy-duty rivals, 2016 Ram 2500 Mega Cab offers a manual transmission. Not only does the manual transmission give the driver total control, but it also enhances the truck’s fun factor. (In order to get the six-speed manual gearbox, buyers must opt for the Powerstroke diesel engine.) Getting the manual transmission will allow you to really enhance your control over the vehicle.
